Don’t cry because you missed this amazing special event for Cygnet Theatre! For two nights only, on August 3rd and 4th, the Cygnet Theater presents EVITA to benefit their Artists Advocate Program. This Andrew Lloyd Webber musical follows the amazing life of Eva Perón, the First Lady of Argentina.
The Artist Advocate Program is the program that helps the theatre fully support the actors, designers, and directors. The ticket to this event not only helps support the many talented people that help create the shows and the quality that are we associate with The Cygnet Theater, but it also includes the Pre-show reception, the Silent Auction, and the performance of EVITA.
This performance will feature performances by Allison Spratt Pearce last seen in MY FAIR LADY, Cygnet Theatre, and COME FROM AWAY, La Jolla Playhouse) and Sean Murray the Artistic Director of Cygnet Theatre and last seen on stage as Professor Henry Higgins. Directed by Manny Fernandes, who is also a Resident Artist at Cygnet, this is a show you don’t want to miss!
